Cohutta Springs Conference Center in the Georgia-Cumberland Conference is pleased that Archie Moore will become Development Coordinator May 15.

Moore has worked with the Seventh-day Adventist denomination for the past 38 years in a wide variety of positions. He has served as principal, pastor, education superintendent, youth director (14 years at summer camps), and conference secretary. He was also employed in promotions with the North American Division and development at Indiana Academy.

He has officially retired twice. Once in December 2005 from Indiana Conference, where he served as Executive Secretary and Superintendent of Education for 21 years, and a second time in May 2007 from the Gulf States Conference where he served as interim Superintendent of Education.
